Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the crab mixture in the center of each wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper with a little water, then fold the wrapper diagonally to form a triangle. Press to seal, ensuring that no air is trapped inside.
- Optional: For a decorative touch, you can fold the two outer corners of the triangle toward the center and pinch to secure.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the filled wontons in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
- Spray the tops of the wontons with a little bit of cooking spray or oil for added crispiness.
- Cook in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Check halfway through and shake the basket if needed for even cooking.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving with soy sauce for dipping.
Chef’s Tips
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easier mixing and spreading.
- Experiment with adding different fillings such as cooked shrimp or vegetables for variety.
