AIR FRYER DATE AND WALNUT BREAD

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup diced walnuts

Instructions

  1. Start by adding the chopped dates, butter and then pour the hot water over the dates to rehydrate them.
  2. Leave for about 5 minutes.
  3. Then mix in the brown sugar, egg, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Then spray an air fryer stick pan with non-stick cooking spray.  Make sure the pan fits in the air fryer first.
  5. Then pour the batter into the pan.
  6. Set the temperature to 340 degrees F. Set the time for 12 minutes.
  7. After 12 minutes, check on the bread, then set it for another 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you should have fully cooked bread, or you might need an additional 2-3 minutes. It will depend on various factors, including the wattage of your air fryer, the pan you used, and the air fryer you used.
