- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, flour, shredded Parmesan, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Lightly flour your work surface and turn out the dough. Knead it gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into a rope about 8 inches long and then shape into a bagel by joining the ends together.
- Place the formed bagels on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the top of each bagel for a shiny finish.
- If desired, sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese and garlic powder on top of the bagels.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
